Weekend Recap

For those of you who are wondering...the kids are feeling better. Thank Goodness for those 5 day antibiotics. They sure do make 'em feel lots better tonight.

We had our company Christmas party last night. Yes, there was alcohol involved. My purse was missing in action. We finally found it tossed in a flower bed outside the establishment. My cell phone was gone, but thank goodness my credit cards, check book, etc were in tact. I had no cash in it to begin with, so as far as I can tell all that was taken is my cell phone. I've been calling it all day and it goes straight to voice mail. So, it looks like I'll be getting a new one. What I really hate is that I lost all of my numbers. I don't know very many phone numbers anymore because I just punch a name and hit dial. So, it'll take me a while to get them all back. *sigh*

We put up some of our Christmas lights (FINALLY) outside tonight. It's been raining for the last three weekends so we didn't have the opportunity to do so before tonight. The kids were super excited. It got dark (and cold) on us before we got finished, so I didn't take any pictures, but I will do so tomorrow and post them sometime this week.

So, how was YOUR weekend?!

I agree, that sucks about your purse, one of the many reasons I refuse to carry one anymore...LOL.

We just got our outside lights up as well,I think we have had the same problem that you have with the rain.

Finished lights here, today, too! Same problem - rainy and cold. But at least it got cold - feels more like Christmas now than when it was in the 80's.

So sorry about your purse - I agree with neila - WTF is wrong w/ people?!? Glad it was just your cell phone and not all your cash and credit cards.

You can read about my weekend over at my blog - have a great week!

i'm so sorry about your phone honey. i lost mine tonight too but i finally found it in my bra. i swear. we were driving all over looking for it, the airport, restaurant, cars, then i had my daughter call it in case it was in the car somewhere, and my bra rang... i am truly a dimwit. i do know how panicky i was though because some of the numbers i have no way of getting again.

I need one more set of 50 lights to finish my windows... but I an't find the buggers anywhere - grrrrr... Others have caught on to the fact that 50 lights fit just about perfect in stardard windows? AAAAAACK!

But my weekend was KUH-RAZY too, if it makes you feel any better. I mean, I didn't lose anything (except a giveaway tote that I used to smuggle gifts to my friends holiday party), but crazy nonetheless...

You know what, some people don't deserve to be on this earth! Fancy stealing your bag at a Christmas party. I suppose you could count yourself lucky that whoever left your cards though. :(

I hope you had insurance on your phone...also ask your carrier to track it. They usually just shut the phone and the sim card (if you have that kind) down....and sometimes you can track it by who they call before the telephone company shuts it down.

That's a great Santa- Ha ha ha

Sorry about your phone, that stinks. I thought I lost my wallet, turns out it fell out of the diaper bag and into the shoe basket below...who looks there?

Bummer about your cell phone. I don't get why the thief would just steal that, though...

I'm glad the kids are doing much better.

I'm sorry about your phone. It's an unfortunate incident but I'm glad all your cards and checkbook were still there.
