Teaching at Home
Last week I got Shelby's first HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) lesson last week. She loves this program. It is a home-based, parent focused, early childhood program that utilizes a curriculum to promote parent-child educational interactions. It is a wonderful program and I hope it helps prepare her for school and keeps her from having to have Reading Tutors in the future. However if the need arises, Score is a great solution for parents with young children who need help with reading.
