Spa weekend
While I was away on my "work sponsored spa weekend getaway" I had a lovely time. I know that lots of you are dying to know how it went after the airport fiasco. But, you'll be happy to know that everything turned out well (once I finally got there)! The weather Friday (while I was stuck in the airport in Little Rock) in San Destin, Florida was a bit damp, windy, and the lightning was pretty fierce. But, I brought the good weather with me when I went, I guess. Saturday was a full day of NOTHING. Yup, I did nothing but lay around sipping drinks poolside. I walked the beach and found some sand dollars and sea shells for the kids. I also saw for the first time in my life, dolphins jumping around in the water! It was absolutely amazing! The hand full of men that went got to go out for a day of golfing. I am so glad I didn't have to go and tote all of that golf Equipment around. I was perfectly content with my spa treatment! The facial was awesome and I was just proud to be there after all of my troubles with being stuck at the airport ALL day on Friday! Thank God I finally made it.
