Scary Movies

I LOVE scary movies. I love to the watch real, edge of your seat type scary movies. My favorite scary movies are the ones that you think to yourself that could actually happen...to you! I remember as a teenager my favorite scary movies were the Nightmare on Elm Street movies. I would have such a hard time going to sleep after watching those. But every time a new one would come out I can remember the thrill of watching them for the first time. Freddie was always so scary to me. Some of you may have read my post about my trip to the haunted house with my sister. We saw Fred Kruger around the corner and I left her standing there with my belt loops in hand. She had been hanging on to my by my belt loops and I ran off so fast that they came off my pants! Now, that is scared. I also love the Saw movies as well as The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. But, I tell you what, there is only one other "boogie man" that scares me as much as Freddie and that's Michael Myers! Oh my gosh, that music...you know it, the Halloween music. It scares the heck out of me. Just to hear it makes my skin crawl!

This summer, evil has a destiny. Coming to theaters on August 31, 2007 Halloween the movie is sure to be a box office hit. Michael Myers is back and after being committed for 17 years, he returns to Haddonfield to find his baby sister, Laurie. Nothing will stop him...NOTHING!

Halloween the movie was written and directed by the ever so talented Rob Zombie. Just from watching this trailer I am very ready to see it. I can't wait to see what the twisted mind of Rob Zombie has in store for us. As I said before, I am always up for a good thriller, suspense and this one looks awesome. I think that movie goers will be filling up those seats to see this one. I will be for sure. Any takers for a movie theater partner? I promise I won't run away and leave you standing there with my belt loops!

Check out the trailer below...I got goose bumps just watching it. Man, I'm really excited about this one!
