Modern Technology
After a trip involving over 1800 traveled road miles with a 2, 4, 5, & 9 year old. I will firmly state that Portable DVD players are one of the greatest inventions EVER, hands down. I will argue this to the death! *LOL* Well, not really to the death. Seriously, though they are great. If you have kids and you don't have one of these things, then you don't know what you are missing. We took four with us on our excursion and I tell you what, they were life savers! My four year daughter and my 5 year old nephew LOVED the one with the cordless headphones. They were so quiet and good on the trip, sometimes I thought they were sleeping but they were just quietly watching a movie! Can you believe it?! This is NOT a paid ad. It is a true testament to the power of television! *LOL* Thank goodness for those things, I tell ya. It's the only thing that kept me half sane! The jury's still out on the other half, though. (smiles)
