Black Friday

Do you shop at places like Target, Best Buy, Circuit City, or Wal-Mart on what is commonly known as Black Friday? Black Friday is the shopping day after Thanksgiving. This day commonly marks the beginning of the hustle and bustle of the Christmas holiday shopping season. I love a bargain, but the thought of fighting through crowds at 5AM after a belly full of turkey and stuffing the day before is not a very good thing! Black Friday is usually the busiest day of the retail shopping year. How about being part of cyber monday? Sounds a lot better to me! I would much rather sit in front of my computer screen and get a great deal rather than fight through a crowd. I used to work in retail and I remember the horrible stories of women fighting, people diving over one another thus the name "Black Friday". It relates to the term Black Tuesday, the day the stock market fell. Black Friday was is a pretty stressful time for those in retail requiring long hours and hectic foot traffic. Black Friday.net offers e-mail alerts to let consumers know when new Black Friday ads have been posted.
Walmart.com is a great place to see some awesome deals. If you sign up for the e-mail alerts you can be in the know before the general public as to what is going to be in their "Blitz" sale! Head on over to BlackFriday.net now and get on their e-mail alert list so you can be in the know.

I also have found some great deals on Cyber Monday. Although I am also doing Black Friday this year for a laptop. There is another place, dealtaker, that has a GREAT Black Friday Forum and they have a forum for Cyber Monday too with loads of tips and tricks.

I do go to the black friday sale at Wal mart every year-I am there at 3 in the morning...crazy I know, but I kinda like it.No one has ever been rude to me,in the matter of fact it has always seemsed like customers in my Wal Mart become a team....LOL

The controversy this year is that Wal Mart stopped any early online posting of their ads-everyone thinks they have the ads but they are from last year....

I would think that Wal Mart would want to post these ads to garner more business.
Nonetheless,it wont stop me from showing up bright and early the 23rd.WOO HOO!!!
