My 14th Edition

This Week's Theme: Rare

Last weekend after Disney Princesses on Ice, my sisters and I took our girls to the zoo. This was a new baby that was on display and I must say that he was quite entertaining. I could've watched him for hours. He was so playful and his mother was a very good mommy. She played with him and watched him with an eagle eye. It was so amazing to me to see such a RARE thing. Isn't it so amazing how that motherly instinct carries over into the animal world!? Hope you all have a great weekend. I can't wait to get around and see all of the other RARE posts. Go by and wish TN Chick a speedy recovery whether you're playing along or not.

I took myself to the Zoo last wednesday, lol ! That's probably the first time after 30 years !
I have seen an elephant baby. But I don't agree that animals took mother instinct from humans, it was the other way around. Animals are far better mothers, it's indeed very rare that an animal doesn't accept her baby with human mothers it happens quite often. Sad to say !

Monkeys were always my favorite animal at the zoo as a child. She sounds like a very good mama.

Nice post for the "rare" theme. I stopped by to visit but am not playing this week as I need to clean my house (which in and of itself is rare!) so I don't want to spend too much time on the computer like I usually do on Saturdays!

I love watching babies of any kind. The zoo is a great place to do it too. Our zoo hasn't got a baby in a long time.
