Update

Earlier this week I posted a story: Wee for a Wii???
Today I came across an update on this story.
Tragic story all around: SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A radio station fired 10 employees, including its three morning disc jockeys, after a woman died following an on-air water-drinking contest last week.

The hosts of KDND-FM's "Morning Rave" were fired Tuesday, a day after the station said it was suspending the show and investigating the death of Jennifer Lea Strange.

Strange, 28, was one of about 18 contestants who tried to win a Nintendo Wii gaming console by seeing how much water they could drink without going to the bathroom. The show's DJs called the contest "Hold your Wee for a Wii."

What is wrong with people?! How horrible and sad.

They did the same thing to some radio DJ's here after they were going to let some guy shoot his own foot. Kinda makes you wonder what some people think is entertainment doesn't it?

I think it just serves them right. I really feel sorry for Jennifer.

Their troubles are not over yet. Looks like they are going to be facing criminal charges.

Yep, what the employees did was criminally stupid but, anyone who actually tried the stunt was a moron too.

Simple physics: for every action there is an equal and oposite reaction. Stupid is as stupid does.
