Gosh. Your four-year-old sounds more intelligent that Mom's ninth graders.

Great TT.

she sounds adorable. You'll be happy you wrote those down.

How cute! Treasure those moments as I'm sure you will!

My TT is here!

Does she have a speech impediment? Why I ask is my daughter use to have a speech impediment and for horse she said wh*** (not funy), juice was juke.

Oh, what a hoot! I should do this - J is four, and he's got some fairly entertaining ones. What a great way to remember those things as she learns to talk.

So cute and what a great idea for TT! I swear half the stuff my 4 yr old grandson says, only his mom can understand :)

Aren't kids fun!

Great list and just wait and she starts saying other things!

oh - that's just too cute!! My 2 1/2 year old says 'kinky' when he means stinky, and he calls A LOT of things stinky!! I get 'the look' from other parents, constantly.

Those are funny. I laugh at my 4-year-olds words too. One word is mispronounced that the brothers share but to each of them it means different things.

Funny! thanks for the early morning laugh!

I'm not a participant but I enjoyed reading your post. I can relate to your post because my 3-yr old son says some words that not everyone can understand. Here are a few words I heard him say a few hours ago:

Girl - he says Gurrl
Musketeer - he says Mascarteer
Ouch - he says Ouchy

So adorable! I have a 17month old, and she uses the word "doh" for window, dog, door, dolphin and Dora.... ;)

Super cute!

No, she doesn't have a speech impediment. She actually speaks very well. Lots of these words shr pronounces correctly now. I just wanted to write down the funny things that she's said in the past to remember. I'm sure there are more that I'll add later. She says most of those words correctly now.

Well, frankly I usually skip baby/children TTs because I just don't seem to relate as much as others but this is the second one in a row today that hooked me! Guess it's the language angle since I'm a linguist - anyway these are a riot - reminded me a lot of my brother's wacky personal dialect when he was little - I love esp. "Last mornin'" and the thought of your avoiding ditches for a while... :) tee hee

Awwww...those are adorable. And, I used to call Green Beans, "Bean Beans"! She sounds absolutely adorable.

Happy TT and I'm up!

If my 2 ever stop saying 'glubs' (gloves) I'm going to cry...

OMG! I might have to steal that idea. That is AWESOME!

Oh --these are great!!!!

I love toot toot, bitch and of course 3 guys, one w/messed up hair!!!

Love Them!!!

I remember when we had "feenguns" for fingers and "mooget" for music. I almost cried the day my middle one remembered it was coyote instead of "Cowodie". Cowodie is now his nickname.

Mine is up, #9.

Adorable!!

I remember when my little brother would pronounce "truck" with an "f" where the "tr" should be... we'd spend all day pointing out trucks and getting him to yell the word!

Isn't it funny when they start babbling? My 21 months old niece calls me Naaana instead of Sonja and hubby Kissie instead of Chrissie. That's too fun.

Sonny

When I was little my sister tried to get me to mispronounce Gary Puckett's last name. (Since I always went to the Flayground instead of the playground)

Happy TT!

Motemeal and Deyogurt are priceless.

Just thank your lucky stars she's not saying firef**k instead of firetruck ;)

Nothing better than trying to break a 3 year old boy of his habit of saying that!

Mike said...

lol. I remember when my nephew tried to say that his doggie sheds...it didn't turn out that way lol. Little ones are so cute. Happy TT.
