On a lighter note

I did get some things packed up yesterday afternoon. I got my antique china cabinet packed up that was passed down to me from my grandma. It is passed down to the first granddaughter in every generation, and I just so happened to get it. It is full of little nick nacks that have been passed from one to another. My grandma collected those little bitty tea sets, and there are about 10 of them on there. Well, it took a while to get all of those all wrapped up! But, I did get it packed.
Brien also packed up the movies in the entertainment center. He gathered up all of my kitchen nick nacks...teddy bears. I packed them, just 'cause I felt better about me doing it instead of him. Heh heh
I lucked out and my sister in law who works at Lowes brought me 3 boxes of their circular ads to use for insulation for all of my breakables! That's cool, cause they won't leave black ink on things like newspaper will. So, I should be good to go on that stuff.
I was going to take pictures off the walls, but it already looks pretty bare in there, so I might wait 'till the weekend or something to do that.
Tonight I think I am going to tackle the desk and get things packed up that we don't use. We aren't taking that desk 'cause it is just old and falling apart, so we're going to get another one and just burn this one. So, I need to get it cleaned out and go through the file cabinets as well. We're only taking one! So, the other will be junked. That means I have to get rid of a lot of paperwork that we no longer need!
I figure I can do a little each night, then when it comes time to pack the things that we use daily for the day of the move, it'll go a lot smoother!
