I met my mother in law at the doctor's office today. She brought Shelby in to see him. She had spent the night at her house and she called me and said she was running fever. So, I thought it best to get her in there today since it'd be hard to see one on the weekend. So, turns out that she has strep throat. : ( He gave her some antibiotics and said by tomorrow her fever should be gone and maybe she will feel better. Poor thing! He showed me her throat and it looked aweful. It was pretty swollen and red. It is contagious today, so I have been trying to be careful about kissing her and drinking after her. I hope it doesn't come my way...I've been plenty sick enough already this cold season. But, I would rather be sick than her.
