We received the TC Pig and Shelby, my 7 year old daughter was so excited when she saw it. She immediately took it to her room to find out what she could stuff in and wrap around it. The piggie's head makes a cute little pillow and believe me, she easily found things that fit perfectly in and on it. Headbands, wallet, jewelry, and the likes. She really loves it.

Since I have a 5 year old and an 18 month old, I knew this would be something that we could use. When I saw this product, I had one of those Why didn't I think of that moments! It is an awesome product. The fact that it was mommy invented (by Michele Wong and Paige Akabane) came as no surprise to me. Tyler was happy to demonstrate for a picture as he enjoyed some peaches. He had a hard time not sticking his thumb up there to catch the food. Then he'd realized he didn't have to! Genius, this product is simply a MUST have for any person with small children, or caring for the elderly! They fit easily in the diaper bag if you're taking your children out to eat.

The BumpyName is a line of cute, mom-invented, elastic rubber orbit labels. BumpyName labels are personalized, non-adhesive, reusable and come in a variety of colors. Big City, Here I Come

I love being a blogger. I have met some wonderful people that I consider true friends through my blog. I have worked (and continue to do so) with some awesome folks spreading the word about great products through PR. I was on Good Morning Arkansas back in December. If you missed it, you can watch it again here: My Four Minutes of Fame.

I have been asked to come back to Good Morning Arkansas to promote some awesome Mommy Invented Products! I have gotten my hands on a few of them already and I must say that I am very impressed and I have already said, "Why didn't I think of that?"!! I think that this segment is going to be a lot of fun and hope to generate a lot of traffic for these innovative products (and maybe a little for me)! I think I smell another give away, and these are going to be hot items!

For those of you that live here in Arkansas, my appearance on Good Morning Arkansas will be Friday, March 5th on the 9AM show on ABC (local channel 7). So, set your DVRs if you can't call in sick to watch it live. I will try to have a copy of it here sometime next week if possible.

Awards program. The program rewards five Grand Prize winners with a $10,000 classroom makeover and 100 other winners with $500 worth of school supplies. In 2009, The Fresh Air Fund's Volunteer Host Family program, called Friendly Town, gave close to 5,000 New York City boys and girls, ages six to 18, free summer experiences in the country and the suburbs. Volunteer host families shared their friendship and homes up to two weeks or more in 13 Northeastern states from Virginia to Maine and Canada.

The Fresh Air Fund relies on donations to provide memorable summers to NYC children.

The Fresh Air Fund needs hosts for the summer of 2010.

More than 65% of all Fresh Air children are reinvited to stay with their host family, year after year.

Thanks to host families who open up their homes for a few weeks each summer, children growing up in New York City’s toughest neighborhoods have experienced the joys of Fresh Air experiences.
