Goodbye Friend!

The turtle survived the day with my children. As a token of my appreciation for keeping them occupied all day I talked them into letting him "return to his family".
Shelby said her goodbyes:

Then the little guy was on his way, searching for his lost brothers and sisters.

That is until JJ the kitty cat spotted him.

Thankfully Tyler finally saw that the little guy was on his way safely.

Oh my goodness! I think I've found the perfect gift for JJ the kitten (our newest family member). I was surfing over at the hobby shop and they have lots of fun stuff. But, the cutest thing that I saw was a remote control mouse! Can you imagine all of the fun that a kitty could have chasing this thing around?! But, more importantly can you imagine all of the fun that four and two year old children would have with this particular item? Oh, yea JJ the kitty will definitely have a stocking for Santa this year and I do believe this will be top priority on Santa's list!

The New Family

Folks, it looks like JJ, the new kitten is getting along just fine with the family. He is spending his first night in the house, I suppose. It was hubby's suggestion. It was time for Shelby to go to bed and she was upset because he laid with daddy while we rolled her hair and he told her to go get him and take him to bed with her. So, I wonder what time I'll be up in the middle of the night? Here's a few candid shots I took of him with the family tonight.

Meet "JJ"

Well, here he is guys. At least I think it's a he. I am no expert but I think that I can see a couple of little boy parts. We went to Wal-Mart and got him a couple of toys and some treats, litter and a litter box. I don't think that Brien is going to go for leaving him in the house. But, I thought while we were home for the weekend he could stay in during the day. While we're out during the day he can hang out outside for now. He doesn't seem to mind it outside. So, anyhow without any further ado here he is. Meet our newest family member..."JJ".
