Teacher, What's in That Cup?!

As the kids were helping me clear the table after dinner, we were talking about Tyler and some of his friends from school. He mentioned the name of one of his friends and I informed him that his teacher had sent me a picture of the two of them with a caption of "Sweet Boys". I laughed and said I think she made the word plural accidentally 'cause surely she wouldn't use the term "sweet" to describe Tyler.

{Before you start leaving hate comments, I was only kidding.  My son can be sweet when he wants to be.}

PhotobucketI asked Tyler if his teacher was drinking that day. Of course he is only 5, so he said "Yes!!" I laughed because I knew that of course she was drinking, but not "drinking"! He said, she was drinking coffee. To which Shelby (the 8 year old snarky sister) replied, "Oh Tyler, coffee isn't bad. She wasn't drinking beer was she?"

Tyler then says, "Shelby do you know what is in coffee?!?! You must not know how bad it is. It has caffe-N-ine and she drinks four or five cups a day!"

I'm thinking that his teacher might regret that she has a blogging momma's child in her class by the end of the year.

...and for the record, I'd have to have an IV drip of coffee if I were dealing with Kindergarten students all day long!

I have to agree with you about kindergarten students! I used to carpool with a 6th grade teacher who carried a thermos full of coffee. Turns out, he added a little "something" to his coffee! ACK! He finally retired!

desertsandbeyond, that's insane!! I am certain that Tyler's teacher is not adding a little "something" to her coffee, unless it's cream and sugar. ;) Thanks for stopping by.
