Smartipants Product Review

We live in such a disposable society, that many of us are trying harder to live a "green" life. For families like us it's very difficult to do, but every little step we can take to move toward that life style makes a big difference in the future for our children. When I was asked to review some cloth diapers, I was a bit skeptical at first.
I have younger siblings, and I remember when my brother and sister (twins!) were born Mom used cloth diapers with them. I remember very well having to deal with the scrubbing and washing of those things. It is not something I would want to have to go through again. I looked at their website and read a bit about Smartipants and realized that their product might be just the right product for me!
I was sent a sample smartipants to try on my little one. Emily is almost 18 months old and when I put it on her she was excited to have it on. I put it on her with ease. The gentle pleated stretch elastic on both legs and in the back of the diaper make for a cozy fit for little Emily. The adjustable snaps allow for a "one size fits all" diaper so there's no need to invest money in several different sizes of diapers. This in itself will save you lots of money. Smartipants is the first reusable diaper to introduce the smart sleeve. This unique isolated insert lining puts absorbency where you need it and prevents moisture from seeping outside the diaper. The greatest thing about this smart sleeve is that you just toss the entire diaper (sleeve inserted and all) in the wash and it will come out on its own. This saves you from having to deal with the mess of a soiled diaper!
