Theft of Bloggery!!!!!!

I received an e-mail today from another blogger alerting me that another website is publishing my feed without my knowledge! This website has NO permission to do so and the kicker is that they are running advertisements so they are making money from MY words!! This has been happening since June.  176 posts total before today. This is NOT COOL.  I’ve contacted the site and left comments, but I also contacted the company who does the advertisements on the site to let them know.  I am not the only "working mom" on this website, there are others.  Kaleigh gave me the idea to contact the ad site.  Hopefully this will help.  Any advice on what else we can do?!?

So, if you were wanting to steal my words, pictures, memes, and thoughts...DON'T!!! My advice to you would bew to find a job or learn how to write yourself. You do NOT have permission to be publishing my feeds.   This feed originates at http://www.crazyworkingmom.com. If you are reading this content on another site, it has been illegally copied. Please contact me if you are viewing this content from an unauthorized website.

Update:

My feeds have been removed from the site. Unfortunately there are still 4 other "working mom" victims. If any of you read this, please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I think that this site needs to be removed! It's deception at it's finest and should not be allowed!

Contact the person's hosting company and make a pest of yourself. If you do not IMMEDIATELY get what you want, escalate over the person's head until you get what you want. You want the site shut down, period. It's probably against their TOS for him to steal content anyway, and a hosting company would rather shut down now and ask questions later than listen to you scream. So go ahead and scream and don't take no for an answer!

Also, lead off every article with copyright and a sentence that says something like, "if you are reading this anyplace other than XXX.com (or a legitimate subscription to XXX.com), that means you are reading STOLEN CONTENT". No burglar is going to want to take the time to strip that out before burgling you, so it might deter the vast majority of them who just want to automate and collect the cash.

Good luck!

Thanks for the heads up, however, in regards to photos: unless you personally snapped those photos, they become public domain. Just the law. The rest is theft.

Wow! This is terrible and infuriating! I SO feel for you, and I back you every step of the way - you need a friend, I'm there.

Tink: Thanks so much for the insight. I have contacted them so I will wait until tomorrow (as they've had all weekend) to take the next steps. As far as the disclosure on each post, I don't think they care. THIS POST is displayed on the site as well as another blogger who is having her feeds stolen!

Fredamans: The pictures on the website happen to be pictures of my family!!! That is just NOT COOL, in fact every photo I have posted since JUNE is on THEIR website. I don't care how you look at it, that is theft since they did NOT have my permission to publish.

Thanks to everyone for your support. I will keep you updated.

Sorry to learn that you're experiencing such thievery and I'm glad you got some suggestions on what to do about it. I had no idea this was even possible. Hope everything gets cleared up quickly.
Hugs and blessings,
