Just livin' the dream people

Life is hectic for this CrAzY Working Mom.
My house looks like it's been exploded by a bomb.
We're busy most of the time, it's hectic no doubt.
Coffee is a morning fix I cannot live without.

I love my three children, all just the same.
But, sanity is just as difficult as remembering my name!
Oh how I long for a nice, long soak in the tub,
A mani/pedi, or even a back rub.

On the back burner, my needs do rest.
My family comes first, this I know best.
Some day when the kids are all grown up,
I'll wish for the days of the unwashed sippy cup.

For now, this mommy of three and loving wife
Will just suck it up because she loves her life.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
I love my family more and more each day!

Last week in a nutshell:

- We went to Build A Bear.  Tyler created a horse, named "John".  Shelby created a rabbit named, named "Hopster".  Emily, with the help of Tyler and Shelby created a rabbit named "Cuddles".  The kids had a great time making their new friends.  As always, there are more pictures over at my Facebook Page.  You can click the picture here to go directly to the album.

- After all of the fun we could stand at Build A Bear, we did a bit of back to school clothes shopping for Shelby followed by a fun dinner at Crazy Hibatchi.  Tyler is NOT a fan of Japanese Steakhouse.  When the chef came out, he announced, "If he fires this thing up, I"m outta here."  I had to pick myself up off the floor from laughter.  He stood behind me the entire time, peeking his head out when something was added to his plate.  He would not eat his dinner until the chef was finished with the cooking and had left the table!

- Tyler will turn 4 on Sunday.  We're all geared up to have a back yard pool party.  Everyone is excited.  I'm praying that the weather isn't too hot and the rain will hold off since we were pounded with it last night (see post below).

- School starts back on the 19th.  I've never been so ready.  Shelby will be going to first grade.  Tyler will still be in pre-school (he starts school next year!!!).  Emily will also begin going to the daycare that Tyler attends after her first birthday (on the 2nd of September).

- Emily got another tooth. This makes three. It's kinda odd because her first two were on the bottom in the front. This one is almost a molar. It's pretty far back. It is causing her to make silly faces. I think she is sliding her tongue back and forth on it and she looks like she's sticking her tongue out, but as she does this she also puckers her bottom lip out resulting in what looks like the "bitter beer face". Remember that commercial?

- Vacation Bible School started this week.  The kids (the older 2) are going.  The church is across town (by the in-laws house).  It starts at 6:30 and runs 'till 8:30.  It's late when we get in, so we're having a tough time getting in bed at a decent hour.

I am sure there are lots of other things that I have missed due to my lack of time at the computer for actual blogging.  I will post more as I think of them.  For now, duty calls...no time for XBox, Playstation, or Wii I've got to get to work.

I'm exhausted just reading this... sounds like a week your kids won't forget. I can't tell you how many build a bears we just gave away... my 9 year old would rather sleep with a stuffed spongebob.
