Do You Text While Driving?!?!
I am not going to lie and say I have never texted, or checked a message from my phone while driving. I wish I could say that. But, after watching this powerful video I can say with certainty that I will not do it again! WOW!!! If you've not watched this clip, you can break away and do so now. It's a very powerful PSA that shows what could happen if you are distracted from the road for only seconds! This could happen to anyone, not just a teenager. It could happen to a mother with a van full of kids as she applies her lipstick on the way to school. It can happen to a father with a truck full of ball players as he spills coffee on himself on the way to ball practice.
We should all take heed of this powerful warning and keep those cell phones stowed away for emergencies only while we are driving! Thank you, Parent Talk Today for featuring this video. It has touched my heart and left an image on my brain that I will not soon forget when the two small children are crying for their mommy and daddy to wake up! I STILL have chill bumps!

Ok, I can't stop crying now...
Just sent that video link to my nieces and stepdaughters. I explained that they needed to see this and that I hope they take heed.
While I do not text while driving, I often have a drink with me or have to answer the phone (My car has built-in bluetooth). This makes me think twice.
wow.... powerful stuff... very powerful stuff....
I'm sorry if this upsets you Tisha as you confess to having done it, but I cannot understand the mentality of anyone who thinks they can text whilst driving. It's just madness. :(
gads I am borrowing this and put it on my blog.. Thanks Tisha
The video has been removed, but I don't text - ever. I drives me nuts. My best friends' 19 year old grandson has been up for the summer and he must text about 200 times a day. bzzzz. bzzz. bzzzzzz. Talk about OCD.
I can't say I've NEVER talked on the phone while driving but it has been extremely rare, and only while stopped at a light. Seriously. Mostly if it's my mother, in case something was wrong with her or my Dad.
I couldn't view it from your site, but it's avail. still on parenttalk that you linked too. Very powerful, very real. Woke me up, I just txt yesterday morning while at a stop sign, won't even do that again.
I'll admit to talking on the phone while driving sometimes but I've never texted. I just couldn't do it, I would wreck for sure. But I have friends that drive and text, at first I would say nothing but now if I'm reading with them I tell them not to text while driving, I don't want to die. I saw that video on tv, it's a powerful statement.
This is a very powerful video!
