Looking at the Sky on Friday

This was the scene over my house last Saturday as a local crop duster performed his task, dusting crops. My 3 year old son LOVED his aerial stunts and I must admit that seeing him fly so close overhead was pretty fun for me as well. I thought of our own LATSOF friend, Ralph as I snapped these photographs. As you can tell, it was a beautiful day for flying. I think that the pilot probably saw a little boy jumping up and down and a mommy with a Cannon in hand as he whisked by because he seemed to be flying just a bit lower each time he got close to our home. What fun! I look forward to seeing what you all come up with this week. I just want to take a minute to say thank you for all of your support in this meme. I never dreamed I would have so many people playing along when I was shunned from another sky photo meme. I am so proud to be a part of such a fun meme with many old and new friends! Thank you so much. I look forward to many more Fridays of looking at the sky with you all.

I just called Ralph to see your post. ;-)

Happy sky looking.

Thanks for the mention! I find myself still, at age 54, looking at any heavier-than-air aluminum bird that happens overhead. in fact, from our patio we can often see the planes flying from New York-JFK as they begin their flights to Europe. I continue to look up in wonder - as I am sure Tyler does. There is something about looking upstairs whenever I hear a propeller spinning...

w00t, it's Ralph! I knew exactly who you were talking about :) Love the old planes - we get them here sometimes in the dead of the summer, but they are dusting for mosquito control instead of for crops.

Anyhow, thank YOU sweetie, for providing an alternate Friday sky-related pictoral experience for all of us. I'm so happy to participate here with you and the gang.

That is so cool that the bi-plane flew close enough to get pictures! And thank YOU for giving us a fun, no-pressure meme for Fridays, my friend!

Mine's a sunset over Michigan @ It's A Blog Eat Blog World ~ have a great weekend!

Wow! What good fortune for you and Tyler to see such acrobatics over your house. How fun!

I love watching planes fly. It always seems like they fly away when I grab the camera and try to get some pictures, though. I guess I need to think of pictures sooner, but I get caught up in watching.

how I love to watch planes flying. Our place is directly on the path where planes pass and they are pretty close to us but never did try taking photo of it. Your photos reminds me that I will take out my camera when I hear plane coming close to us. Happy Friday!

I'm so glad you had your camera ready that moment.
The shots are way cool :D!
Happy Friday and have a great weekend :)!

Love the duster! We still have them here but I rarely see them. California is SO full of rules and CalOsha makes it rough to spray anything!
I loved watching them buzz the fields next to our place when I was a kid. They would literally fly over our front yard as they hopped from field to field. Funny thing is, last time I checked I didn't have three arms and six legs, either...
Honey, you make this meme what it is. I love your takes on life and family. I really do....
~~~Blessings~~~
Tisha, you won't believe what my LATSOF post is - planes in the sky! What a coincidence! :)
Hi Trish, I sure do like your airplane. Were you out on a crop dusting run? It looks nice there in the clear blue sky.
Instead of planes in the sky I have boats in the water today (of course there is sky too).
