Ruby Tuesday - Tyler's Fall From Grace

I've really found myself obsessed with taking pictures since I got my new zoom lens for My Canon Rebel. Today I got a bit creative taking advantage of the beautifully blue sky with a different perspective. As I was shooting the sky, I came across a bumble bee making his way from one flower to another. I got a few shots of him 'till he decided he didn't want me getting too close to him. I'll find a place to put him some time soon. Maybe I'll upload them to Flickr. As for the sky photos, you can come back on Friday to see them. I also got some cute pictures of Tyler moving mud puddles in the driveway. Yup, you heard me right. This creative little fella was filling his metal dump truck with a mud puddle and relocating it. I got some great shots. I'll feature it later on as well. Those puddles should be dried up in the next day or so. We've got a dry forecast all week. Thank goodness. I have the rain packed up in shipping boxes. Where do I need to send it?! Any takers?   The photo I'm featuring today is of my 3 year old son, Tyler who found himself brave enough to cross the monkey bars.   Unfortunately, he was unable to make it to the other side and hubby nor I reached him in time.  He fell face first into the pea gravel below.  He had some battle wounds on his face, but he's tough.  So, he still managed to smile for the camera afterward.

Kids do bounce back after a fall. It is nice he wasn't hurt too badly. Thanks for sharing. Did you dress him to match the play structure? he blends in perfectly.

Oh, to have the energy of a child. Pound for pound, they are the most gifted athletes in the world. Great photo for a Ruby Tuesday. Have a wonderful day.

Boys will be boys, right Tisha? You can really see the resemblance between Tyler and Emily in this closeup photo.

We have the rain and clouds and yuck now in CT.

Happy Ruby Tuesday ;-)

Oh boy-I remember what that gravel feels like on a soft little face. I did almost the same thing when I was his age but instead of crossing I was trying to do a penny drop. I ended up sliding across the gravel on my face and never tried penny drops again!

Tyler is a real trooper! Tough kid, that one. Watch out for him, Tisha.

About the rain, you can send that to me expedited. We're supposed to reach near 100 today. Ugh.

Tyler is such a cute kid, and perfect in his activities. But red seems to be the best kid color, I don't know why. Could be that his shirt perfectly matches his rosy cheeks...

He'll be swinging across those bars in no time at all!

Boys are like Timex watches - they take a lickin' and keep on tickin'! I can SO remember falling off the monkey bars myself time after time until I got it right. These days, not a chance I'd make it to even the second bar!

Aww.. what a great smile. Leah likes to pretend she's going across, but she can't hold herself up. Thanks for sharing.

I love the fact that he's being a kid - I've got battle scars from playing and I've taken a header into pea gravel, too!
I'm the head of the line for your package of rain!
It was 99 degrees today and I was wearing sweats just a few days ago! It is supposed to cool down, though - before we get our final onslaught of summer.
~~~Blessings~~~
Ouch! Kids are resilient. A good sign is that he's grinning ear-to-ear.
