Plateaus and Office Visits

Photobucket

My b/f/f, Becca sent me this. I thought it was cute. I've been on a "diet" now since Monday. I've done the Wii Fit every day this week with the exception of yesterday. I was home with a sick boy. So far I'm two pounds down.

We had a doctor's appointment at 3:30. We were a "work in". We left the office at 5. The nurse said that by the end of the day they will have treated 68 children...just ONE doctor! That is a lot of sick kids. Anyhow, Tyler has an ear infection and some congestion, but not bronchitis or pneumonia, thankfully.

Please send me good thoughts so that I can keep on the right track to weight loss. :) Hubby is on board with me this time too, so that makes it so much easier for me to do it with his support and vice versa.

Happy weekend!!

Well done losing 2lbs already and keep at it, it will be worth it. I've been eating healthily and doing Pilates every day since 7th January and I've lost 14lbs! Only another 28lbs to go. :(

It makes it much easier when Hubbys join. I know that. My suggestion that I have been doing is Joy's life diet. The food is real food and easy to do. I've lost weight and my whole family is eating better and some of them (kids) don't even know it. LOL

Hon, I know you that when you set your mind to something you WILL accomplish it. NO doubt...One day at a time. Don't expect perfection and keep moving forward.

YOU CAN DO IT!!!

So sorry to hear that Tyler is ill, but I'm glad it's not more serious.

Keep up the good work on your weight loss!

it is difficult to diet when you gotta prepare meals for a family...I bet it helps that Hubby is on board too.

and you'll whip all the other mothers on wii...smile.

Hope the sick one is feeling better. I need to get back on the Wii Fit myself. It really is a great way to get the exercise in, if I would just use it! Glad your new program is working well for you. :-D

Well I just blogged about hitting my 50 pounds down mark! Weight Watchers and Zumba have been my biggest helpers! Even if you can't join WW or go to meetings, the website is great! I'm not sure how much access you have when you are not a member but try it out. Also try Hungrygirl.com, she's got great pointers and email newsletters for shopping lists, recipes, etc. I know WW has an online program too. It's a great program! I bet the Wii Fit it fun, I've heard it is! Zumba is an absolute blast! Hope the sick kiddos are feeling better, that always stinks.

I found a really yummy low carb wrap at the store the other day. I'll have to go look at the name and email it to you. Only 5 Net carbs per wrap and doesn't take gross like most low carb bread does.

Our office just started a walking program today. We're walking a mile lap around our office neighborhood after lunch every day. I hope we can keep it going... so I'll be sending good vibes your way while we're doing our thing!

Oh, I'm feeling a kindred spirit. I have actually been (mostly) on track for 6 weeks now. It is hard. I have been looking at reviews for the Wii Fit and am still on the fence. My latest blog post is about my "muffin top" - need I say more?
