Wii Fit - Update

Some of you have asked how I'm enjoying my Wii Fit. The answer is I am loving it!!! Brien snapped this picture of me tonight as I did my work out. Flattering isn't it?! It really has been the answer to my work out woes. Every day I play new games and work outs are unlocked. Today when I worked out, I unlocked boxing which I really loved!! I think it might be my favorite one so far. I was once addicted to Taebo and this takes me back to those days!!! If you're debating on getting the Wii or Wii Fit I will say that it is a great investment. Not only do I love it, but my children do as well. Who needs ellipticals when you have an awesome system like this right at your fingertips?! My only rproblem is that I have to hear, "Is it my turn yet? When is it my turn? Can I play now?" about one thousand, five hundred and sixty two times while I'm trying to get in my measly 30 minutes!

GREAT picture!!! I'll watch YOU for while and maybe we can share the weight loss. LOL. No?! I really need to get one... especially when I'm in this 'wanting one' stage!

Maybe I need to look into the Wii Fit. I don't know if I could get my wife to quit playing Zelda long enough to use it.

You have to balance on that tiny little white pad?
I hope that little white pad doesn't talk, cuz it would say "Hey, lardass you're killin' me!" if I got on it.
Just sayin'...

Jackie - Unfortunately I don't think it works that way!

Bee - I know what you mean about Taebo! I was the same way. It would kick my butt. I did the quick 15 minute work out most of the time. That was before I had kids.

Mo - Well, it does talk. But, it'd nice...well, sorta. *LOL*
When I got on this afternoon it told me to "Remember to avoid afternoon snacks."
It told Shelby the same thing. She was eating a chocolate doughnut as she stepped on!

The Wii Fit is a wonderful thing, my daughter asked for it for Christmas. I bought it thinking it was just another game, but once I saw her using it and tried it myself, I was so glad that I bought it. I have Fybromyalgia and have a hard time finding a workout that I can physically do with my muscle stiffness, but the Wii Fit offers different levels of workouts. On good days I can do more advanced exercises and on bad days I can do the more basic ones. It is great.

Go mama! Seems like boxing would be easier in something other than jeans though. ;)
