Conversations with Shelby

Tonight as I was making dinner I heard Brien and Shelby reviewing the location of various parts of their body. He asked her where her shin was and she pointed to her face, her chin. He chuckled and repeated himself with emphasis on SHin. She said, Daddy I think it's called a CHin. He explained to her where her shin was and how it differed from her chin.

He then proceeded to quiz her of the location of her forearm. This child holds up her right arm and says, "one". She then moved on to her left arm and says, "two". Right arm once again, "three". Left arm is up and she says "four, four arms Daddy." I think that I might have shot my drink out my nose from laughing so hard at that one! Who can argue with the logic of a 6 year old?!

Hi Tish!
I am sorry it has been so long since my last visit. I took quite some time off. I have been trying to catch up and get my blog all fixed up. You are on my Folk Art Blog, which is fine by the way (smile), but I am also going to link you to my regular blog.

What an adorable conversation with Shelby. She looks so grown up!

Wishing you and your family a Very Blessed And Happy New Year!

Hugs,
Kimmie
