Security

I'll never forget that night. The phone rang and the voice on the other end was frantic. The sound of her voice frightened me immediately. I knew that something was wrong. She was scared. I could hear it in her voice as she asked to speak to my husband. I kept asking her what was wrong and she just cried. This trembling, terrified voice was my mother-in-law. She and my father-in-law had be burglarized. Their home was in disarray and there were things missing, precious things that would never be recovered. The feeling of emptiness and violation that they felt trickled down to the rest of the family. Even though I didn't live there, I was still fearful. What if they didn't get everything they wanted and decided to come back? What if they were home next time? It was just too risky! It was decided that night that one thing would change about this modest country home. The search would begin for home security systems.

The decision was easy when the choices were presented for home security. ADT was the clear front runner with their easy to use touch pad, emergency buttons for police & fire, and not only burglar protection, but fire protection as well. I no longer worry about my in-laws because they have the security of ADT installed in their home. Now there is peace of mind for the whole family. No matter if they are away or at home, ADT is always a phone call away with their 24 hour alarm monitoring. I hope to never hear that fearful voice on the other end of the line ever again!

We have an alarm too. We have also been burglarized. It is indeed an awful feeling. A violation. A loss. We also have a very big safe and all those things that are most precious reside there. If they can get the safe open or out of our home then they can have the stuff in it. Big hug and lotsa lovies. :)

Having been the unwilling recipient of a burglary, I can understand how terrified your MIL felt.
