The End Is Near
Unfortunately there are no changes with me or the little one. He said she has dropped a bit, but my cervix and uterus remained unchanged. This is NOT what a pregnant woman wants to hear on the date she is "due".
The doctor then said the sweetest words I've heard in about nine months...*wink* He asked if we wanted to give her a deadline. I cheerfully agreed! An end in sigh, oh what a feeling!!! If the wonderful little bundle of joy does not arrive before then, we are to be at the hospital on Tuesday, September 2 at 5:30AM. I am still hoping that she comes before then but if not we do know that there will be a new baby in our family on our around the second!!!
Stay tuned for details. I have a very important blogger on standby to post the all important first photo since I don't think People or USA Today will be paying me millions for it.

Just checking the status, but I guess I didn't miss anything. Will check in again over the weekend.
I know you want this to be over with but I was kind of hoping you'd have her on your Mom's birthday now that I know it's on the 5th. Oh well ... guess the little darlin' can have a birthday on the 2nd if she doesn't decide to be a true Labor Day baby and show up on the 1st!
How exciting~ You must be excited and more than ready to bring her into the world. My father was born on September the second.
I can't wait to see her picture. Are you sure you don't want us to call People magazine?

Ok, ok...this is good. At least we KNOW when she'll be here for sure.
On that note, I think you should do a lot of walking, a lot of eating spicy food and a lot of...um...you know, what got you there in the first place but without the actual act. :)

OK, so she'll come along the day before. Here's to 01.09.08, or is it 08.01.09? And here's to a smooth run for both (all three) of you. I'm off to the UK for the weekend, back on Tuesday. Will look in on you then - there better be photos!

I was so hoping to come and see you were NOT here! ;-) Well, she is just not ready to come out of that warm and cozy atmosphere yet. I'm with Mimi, put your feet up and let God handle the rest. I think to have a planned day is wonderful! Just think, she will be here in 5 days no matter what. :-) Still saying prayers for you and little one. I will keep checking. Sending hugs.
