Beware of Pockets

Do you check your pockets? Well, let me rephrase that. Do you check the pockets of the pants that you wash? I got ready to wash Tyler's (my two year old son) shorts yesterday and they were making a rattling noise so I slowly, with a hint of fear reached my hands down into his pocket to find what you see pictured here. There was quite the collection of rocks and sticks from the daycare playground. I think he's bringing the playground home slowly, but surely! I've yet to find anything that breathes in his pockets, and I'm hoping that I never do, but I know the day will come. Maybe he'll find a gold anklet some day?!

I so remember this. I was always afraid of what I would find too. Kids are just plain fun though and your's are no exception. Have a great evening. Big hug. :)

I don't remember doing it, but my mom says I brought home a dead mouse in my pocket when I was about 7.

Lordy, I could do a whole blot post on the things I have put thru the washer and dryer! Fortunately last week I double-checked because Daughter's cell phone was in one of her pockets!!

Pure classic. I still have a 23 year old son that I have to check the pockets... What a nut he is. I love this photo. I swear those are the cutest little sticks and pebbles I have ever seen.

I pull more rocks and rubber bugs from my washer. The other day I found some fake teeth in the dryer clothes when I pulled the out to fold. Thinking they where my 8 year old sons I yelled at him. Turns out they where my 12 year old daughters fake monster teeth. They never outgrow it. I make some coffee money though. Sunday I make $3 just buy doing a load of the kids laundry.

Well, I don't have any kids, but I do have a husband, and he's infamous for leaving things in his pockets, especially paper. I always forget to check is pockets, knowing he's a grown man; and when I finish doing laundry, I always find paper crumblings in the dryer! And when I try to make out what it was, they are usually golf score sheets. I never learn my lesson... I should def. check pockets as you have learned to do!

Why just last week I washed one of my credit cards, and I always find the remains of paper receipts in my pockets.

- Guilty as charged.
