Breakfast Anyone?

I am a mom on the go. The mornings around our house are very hectic. I'm up bright and early preparing for the grueling day before the sun rises. I have to find my bearings before I begin to think about waking up the sleeping bears I have for children, and that hibernating husband of mine! Usually by the time everyone is up and ready, we're late before we even get going. We're hurried and there's not much time for a healthy, nutritious breakfast. Thanks to the gracious moms over at Mom Central, I have found the perfect solution!

They are called Breakfast Breaks and I have to admit this has to be one of the greatest ideas I've seen in a long time. Packed inside a convient travel box, lies a perfectly portioned bowl of General Mills Cereal, a nutri grain bar and a Minuite Maid 100% fruit juice box, a spoon and a napkin (like a kid would use a napkin, right?!) How perfect is this?! Everything you need all in a handy, "grab 'n go" box.
We've always been told that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and there are studies after studies to prove it. Frankly, with this ingenious creation, parents are running out of excuses as to why we can not provide a convienent, delicious breakfast for our children when we're rushed in the mornings. These are available in your local grocery store, so next time you're out and about, grab a box or two and let the kids try them out. See what they think, and I bet that you will be just as pleased with the results as I am!

Oh I remember mornings when my son was little. It was pop-tarts that he wanted back then. Whatever will get the kids to eat is okay by me. Sounds like a great and easy way to make mornings less stressful. Hope you are feeling better. :)
