Christmas on the beach?
Thank goodness we've been lucky here in Arkansas and the weather hasn't been too awfully bad so far this winter. We've had a lot of rain in the last two weeks, but we're very fortunate compared to our neighboring states. There have been lots of people without power and even some fatalities due to the ice storms. I am sure that some of these people are wishing they could get away from all of this snow and ice and go somewhere warm. Just picture sitting on the beach listening to the ocean waves crash into the sand. Amelia Island is offering a wonderful Lodging Special. If you book two nights you'll get the third night free! I would love to go after the holidays and just get away. It would be nice to take my husband to the beach. He's never seen the ocean and he's been wanting to go for a while. Staying at a bed and breakfast is a very unique experience as well.
