God bless our soldiers!! Veterans day has a whole new meaning now that my son is in the Navy. I pray for them and their families. Thanks for the reminder. Happy WW and thanks for stopping by. It ALWAYS great to see you my friend:)

Yes, a very moving photo. C.R. Morris took the words out of my mouth - it looks like he has to carry his own body weight in that 'pack'. Great WW post.

I watched "The Unit" tonight. One of their group was killed and they had the funeral for him with the boots and helmet. Of course, I cried. Traditions are so important - they unite us. Just seeing this young man and knowing that soon, two of my own grandsons will be serving overseas, and it becomes extremely powerful!!!
