A car hop?! That is so cool. I always wondered what it would be like to work there. I put jelly shoes too. Have a great Friday, Tish.

Laane's feast
Jelly shoes seem to periodically return to fashion, for some reason. I only ever had one pair, and they hurt my feet so much! Have a lovely weekend.
My Friday's Feast is up at Siani's Pot-Pourri.
Great feast!! I think we grew up in the same era... we have similar fads.
I hated jelly shoes. I remember getting tons of blisters from them. Plus they made your feet sweat. However, being a slave to fashion as a teen, I had a ton of them. Probably because my parents could get them cheap.
I love the idea of using pictures... I should try your creativity sparker - might work a little better than mine.
I'm not a big fan of Barack Obama, but that picture is taken out of context.
Many people think that the Pledge of Alleigance is being recited, but in fact the National Anthem is being played...I, and most people do not put their hand over their heart for that.
Have a great weekend and Cheers!!
How cool was it to be a car hop?!?!
The salad is so sad and scary ... scary that he's even a viable candidate! Ugh!
I remember jelly shoes too .. but I just couldn't wear them.

Mine is up too.
I used to want a pair of jelly shoes SO badly! But my mom refused to buy them for me. In retrospect, it was probably a good move on her part, since I was a really active kid and just would have had zillions of blisters!
OMG. I loved my jellies and my hypercolor shirt!
Thanks for bringing back such fun memories!
Yep, had all those fads! Hated those jellies, tho - made my feet sweat!
