What happens in Vegas...

I am saving my paid blogging money for a special trip! Hubs and I are going to try to go to Vegas next year around April. I've been to Vegas (for business), but Brien has never been and he's always wanted to go. We're both very excited. I have decided to dedicate all of my paid posts to this fund. As you can see from the earlier post I am well on my way. If I could bring in $500 every month from now 'till then we'll have a great trip and maybe I can take my money down there and triple it! :)

Anyhow, I don't really know where we will stay while we're there. I am debating on Flamingo Las Vegas, Cesar's Palace, The Wynne, oh okay...I'll admit it. I could go on and on. I am just excited about going to Vegas...SIN CITY with hubs. We'll be like teenagers again. I can't wait. Who wants to join us? ;)

ah...so this is why the four dozen posts in my reader from you....ah ha!

I have only been there once as an adult...as the guest during a convention. I get sensory overload in casinos...to the point of severe lethargy. However I am damn good at routlette.

MAKE SURE you go see the Star Trek Museum. Its in the Hyatt or the Hilton...I forget. Spend half a day there. Do the ride. Take the Picture. Eat at Quarks. I am serious. GREAT gift shop. WAY WAY fun.

We've been many times. The latest was this past July.... we stay at a different hotel each time we go. This last trip was the MGM Grand. Awesome trip. You'll LOVE Vegas!

I've never been to Vegas. I'm not much of a gambler, but I'd like to go at least once.

I loved staying in the West Elm (i think that's the name) of the MGM Grande. The rooms were very nice.

When we go back we are staying at Ceasars Palace or the Bellagio. They are stunningly beatiful and clean. Vegas is awesome. Play the nickle slots, watch the fountains in front of the Bellagio at night, go to a cirque de soliel, drive the strip, be prepared for a lot of trafic. Oh my it is fun. When you get there just be prepared to be a little overwhelmed, but never fear for that soon passes. I love Vegas. Oh another bit of advice...rent a car, then you can come and go as you please. When you go to the different hotels valet park it...when you pick it up tip the valet guy 3 or 4 bucks and that's all it cost. If you don't tip them they get mad, so be sure and do that. It sure beats walking the strip which will kill you because everything is not as close as it looks. Just valet it. I am so excited for you. :)

The last time I was in Vegas I stayed at the Monte Carlo, which is nice. I've never stayed at Ceasar's.

Sounds like a worthy goal though!
