Acid Reflux in the modern world
When they were small, I treated both of my children for acid reflux with a doctor prescribed medication. Shelby was a lot worse than Tyler. It caused her discomfort and she would usually reflux after each bottle. As she got older, the same thing occurred with table foods. It was something that she sort of outgrew, or it has gotten better as she got older. My husband also has acid reflux. He just takes over the counter medications because he is too stubborn to go to the doctor. But, sometimes it will bother him while he's in the middle of a meal and he won't be able to finish the meal.
