Sleepy

Yup, that's me this morning. I could be a dwarf, a very sleepy little dwarf. My little man was up most of the night last night sick to his stomach. The poor little thing was up about every hour until 2 crying. I would lay him back down in his bed and rub his forehead and cheeks 'till he'd fall back to sleep. Sister also woke up a few times, but I got her back down and it seemed as though I had just settled back into bed when I heard Tyler crying again. I went in there and as I was walking in I told him, "Buddy you're going to have to lay down and go to sleep. Mommy is tired...I have to work...". Then I heard the noise. You know, that dreaded gurgling sound they make right before they upchuck dinner. There in his bed were his cup of curdled strawberry milk, and his taco from dinner. :( I got him up and we ran to the bathroom. I stripped him down and put him in the bathtub. He thought it was fun to take a bath at 2AM! He played with Spidey in the bathtub while I stripped down his bedsheets and took them to the washer. Then I Lysoled the whole end of the house. I sure hope that whatever he's got we get rid of it before the rest of us get it. He is with his grandma today. He was fast asleep when I left him, filled with phenogren to help the dry heaves. Ya'll send some good thoughts down here to Arkansas that my little man will feel better soon. Hope everyone else is having a better day than me so far. :(
Now, I'm off to find some coffee, chocolate, some caffeine somewhere to keep me awake. I can bearly hold my eyes open!

When you're a kid, the Night of Feeling Hideously Sick seems to go on forever. I hope he's feeling better, and that you get some rest tonight!

Hope the little one is feeling better. I'm feeling tired this morning too though I actually got a fairly good night's sleep. Just can't get moving this morning. Hope your day gets better.

Poor little guy, it's so hard when they are sick! And the lack of sleep is a pain! Isn't it odd how we can handle our kid's puke? I was always the type to gag easily, especially if someone else pukes but with my daughter, it's not at all like that! Odd!

I so remember these nights. Then when he got older I was always taking him to the emergency room because he crashed his bike or some other thing. I hope the workday goes by fast and you can get a bit of a nap to hold you till bedtime. Good thoughts coming your way. :)

I'm sorry to hear that. I do hope that Tyler will feel better soon. My son just recovered from fever but he still has some signs of cough and colds. Take care and may Tyler feel refreshed in the morning. Meanwhile, I'm off to sleep now.

I certainly hope he is feeling better and that you manage to get some rest!

Here's my question - why do they always have to throw up after drinking milk? Dude! That is the worst!!

P.S. I'm not trying to pimp Passion Parties, but Silky Sheets works wonders at absorbing odors!
