New Digs
So, I'm wearing a new shirt today...AND new shoes, "comfty" (as my 4 year old daughter, Shelby would say) shoes, at that!
Today is my FIL's birthday. (Happy Birthday, Ray)
Last night Brien (my hubby) and Shelby were shopping for some pants for FIL's gift. Shelby came across a shirt she liked and she told her father that they needed to buy me a surprise. She said that Mommy needed something b/c she never buys anything for herself. Brien said that he couldn't refuse her then, so they found a really cute shirt and some shoes. I'll hafta get someone to take a photo of me to post later.
Just wanted you all to know how sweet my daughter is and how much I appreciate hubby letting her pick out such a cute outfit. I had the perfect capri pants to go with them both!

That is so nice. Kids can be just the greatest at times. Enjoy it now, those teenage years can be a challenge. :)
