Friday's Feast #19

FF headquarters

Appetizer:
Tell about a time when you had to be brave.

When my grandmother (maternal) was diagnosed with cancer. I was pregnant with my first child. Her doctor told us that she would probably not live to see my baby. Sadly that turned out to be true. It was a very hard time for me b/c I had to be strong for my mother who took it very hard and had to take care of my grandmother during the final weeks of her life. But, I would break down at home when I was alone b/c I loved her so much and I didn't want her to go before she saw my child. But, I know that she was there the day Shelby was born. I could feel her presence. She had told me that she wouldn't miss it for the world. I still miss her a lot!
Soup :
Which upcoming movie are you excited about seeing?
Salad:
Name an item you try to always have on hand.
Main Course:
Imagine the most relaxing room you can think of. Now describe it!
Dessert:
On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being highest), how spiritual or religious are you?

Yeah, it was a little late today :) I was surprised when I got there and there were only a few comments, I expected at least 50 by that time.

I'm sorry your Grandma didn't make it, but that's beautiful you felt her there on your baby's birth day. A very touching appetizer.

I'm also in love with that bathroom. I'd be in heaven!!
