Early Mother's Day

Last night my daughter came home and told me that she had a mother's day gift for me and I was excited that she made me something at her pre-school. She told me late last night that she didn't want to wait to give it to me. She knew I would love it and wanted me to have it right then. So, she went to the place where she had it hidden and handed it to me. Here's what it said: (the bold words are what the teacher filled in for the answers that she gave)

What I Know About My Mom...by Shelby
My mom is sweet!!! Her name is Tisha. She is six years old. To me she looks like herself. When she gets up it takes her five minutes to get ready, she spends most of it on her make up. At her job, she watches people work. She would like it better if she didn't have to put stuff on the trailor.
When we go out, she likes to go Mexican Restaurant. There she orders one taco to eat. Her favorite place to shop is Wal-Mart, she goes there to buy rugs.
At home she likes to take a bath. When she gets to relax, she stretches her arms. If she gets to watch TV, she wants to see Barney.
When she tells me about "when she was little", she says she loves me and they didn't get to take her clothes off 'till it was bedtime.
She always tells me she is gonna hug me. I would like to tell her that I love her.

Now, for my narration:
First off I love that she thinks that I am only six and it only takes me five minutes to get ready! Shoot, it takes me longer than that just to decide what I am going to wear!
The work stuff was just too funny. My boss got a kick outta that one. I never put stuff on a trailor, so I don't know where she's getting that from! *LOL*
I do love Mexican, but one taco would just be a starter for me.
Wal-Mart is about the only place to shop here in our town. So, I do shop there a lot, but I don't buy rugs.
I do love to take baths, though. But, I hate that big purple dinosaur!
I don't even know about the taking her clothes off 'till bedtime part. That was too funny. But, it was sweet that she said that she loved me. I thought this was a neat idea and reminded me of the Mad Libs that we used to do in school.
