Tragedy
Just after 5PM Monday evening, two young boys were playing on the railroad tracks, behind the skating rink in Higginson, when one was struck and killed by a train.
White County Sheriff’s Deputies and Coroner David Powell are at the scene. The name of the victim has not been released.
(This happened right down the road from my house...)

Oh how sad! I can't imagine what I'd do if something like that happened to my boys.
How awful. Makes it even worse when it's just down the road. Give the kids an extra hug!

That's terrible. I feel so sorry for the boy and the family he left behind. My prayers are with them.
