Manic Monday's With Mo 6 "Click"

This Week's Theme: Click

When I saw this week's theme, I immediately thought of the movie Click, starring Adam Sandler. If you have not seen this movie I highly reccomend that you do so. It is a very inspirational movie. I think after I watched it I just sat back while the credits rolled and thought to myself how much of the time I wish I had a remote controll that controlled my universe. Sometimes I come home so tired from a hectic day at work that I wish I could fast forward past the cooking dinner, cleaning up afterward, giving the kiddos a bath, etc. But, if you think about it that is time with them that I am fast forwarding through. We often think of ways to just "make it through" that we forget that we are only on this earth for a short time and you never know when your family, home, friends, or just time will disappear and you may never have another chance to tell that someone that you love them, or tuck your children into bed at night! So, I guess the purpose of my CLICK post is to just say to each of you who have made it this far down on the post and not just signed your name to Mr Linky...live life to the fullest. Enjoy each and every moment on this earth. Take advantage of every opportunity you have to do something fun, spontaneous, out of the ordinary and make sure you do it with those who love you! Surround yourself with good and love. Be all you can be! Enjoy life, my friends because you only get one shot at it. You will only have this time, right now...this time you are reading this blog...you can't get it back! Enjoy it while you can!

Outstanding post! And most excellent advice too. Reading it was a well-spent couple of minutes.

I didn't know about this movie, but you are right, by clicking on FF, we would miss a lot of things in our lives and also the souvenirs. Sometimes moments seems to be awful but looking back you laugh about it.
It's amazing how different people write about the word "click" when I saw the word, I didn't even realize that I had already written a story where it was full of clicks !! So I just had to click "publish" lol !

One thing virtually everyone can guarantee in life is that at some point something truly, truly rotten is going to happen to you or someone you love. The only thing that gets you through times like that are the friends, memories, humor and joy you have created.

You are right. Never miss a chance to make a deposit to that psychic bank account.

this sure strikes a chord!

I tell my teenage boys (probably too often) "today is (insert date here) Monday, March 12. You are never going to have this day again so make the most of it"

but it is so true! we need to be reminded of this so we don't take life for granted.

thanks for my reminder today!

Ha, you are SO right - this isn't a dress rehearsal!

BUT, now I'll never get the idea out of my head of clicking the remote control to fast forward out of dinner time, though...

Great CLICK theme!

*applauds* Thanks for this outstanding take on "click". I haven´t watched the movie yet, but I want to. I´ve thought about a remote control for my life for several times, esp. during a Crohn´s flare-up. But honestly I wouldn´t want to miss a single second...

We really enjoyed this movie! Having lived a life full of sorrow and happiness; things I thought I would like to change, but they're lessons. They'll make or break you - it's your choice.
Great choice for today!

I thought of this movie, too, when I heard Click. It's not every day I tear up at an Adam Sandler movie. WTF?!

Anyway, I definitely agree. It's easy to get too tired, too busy, too whatever, that you forget to stop and enjoy your life. Great post!

I agree with this post. Live life to the fullest, it's going to end someday. And no remote control will turn things back.

I'm going to see this movie soon. Great post!
