Manic Mondays With Mo #5 "Blow"

This Week's Theme: Blow.
Blow: to drive by means of a current of air.

This time of year always makes me want to fly a kite!
I love to fly kites. It makes me feel like such a kid again.
The wind BLOWING in my hair makes me feel so free.
The wind taking my kite high, higher, higher into the sky is such a feeling.
What a feeling!! I loved to fly a kite as a kid. I still love to fly kites as an adult.

I also love to BLOW bubbles.
It is fun to try to make really BIG bubbles and watch them
float away, high, higher, higher into the sky!
What a feeling!

My Mama is a big bubble person. She has a sterling bubble container necklace. She has been given glow in the dark bubbles...and bubble stuff where the bubbles don't pop.

Great idea for "Blow"

Your post reminds me of Mary Poppins

Let's go fly a kite
Up to the highest height
Let's go fly a kite
And send it soaring

Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a kite!

Kites are cool.
Take a picnic, make a day of it.

Ohhh, what great, carefree activities. They remind me of childhood.

Interestingly enough all of the Manic Mondays have been relatively clean.

Good Manic Monday post. I had lots of thoughts around "blow", as I'm sure we all did, haha, but I never thought of blowing bubbles (either with soap and a bubble maker thing, or in bathtub). One of my nieces had little bottles of bubble soap at her wedding (outside in his Aunt's yard) and everyone blew bubbles. It was cool. Thanks for the memory.

Thanks for visiting my blog today.

I love bubbles (can you really get glow in the dark ones?)
I flew a kite for the first time last year, it was only a little cheap but was well cool!

Very cool. I'm all about the bubbles. Have you tried the latex ones that don't pop?

I went to the park and flew a kite last year with my kids. It was exhausting. I had forgotten there was running involved . . .

Now that you've mentioned bubbles, I can't wait until some warmer weather so I can sit out on the front porch and just blow bubbles for awhile. And if I could find some glow-in-the-dark ones that would be even better!

One of my fondest memories is of my dad making me a kite and teaching me to fly it in our field. And I love bubbles. My silly parrot loves to pop them!
Thank you for a most wonderful Monday!

I feel inspired to let my students blow bubbles tomorrow!

Nice post! Now you've reminded me of the cool kites Costco was selling and I didn't buy one - it would be such fun to take my Granddaughter to the beach on a windy day...
