I'm so glad

I am so glad that I am a woman! Hubby came home tonight and he's had a SUPER bad week...trucks breaking down, someone stole some tools (we think from the house), etc. It's just been horrible for him. He came home tonight and said that his day was so bad that at one point in time he thought that if he could go where nobody could find him, he'd just cry. I thought to myself as he said this...I cry lots! I don't worry about who sees me when I do so. I am glad that as a woman I can let my emotions just flow freely when the need arises. It often does. I cry when I am extremely angry, hurt, or upset. I also cry when I get frustrated. I've cried to get out of tickets before (and it worked). Sometimes after a good cry, it just feels like things are all better, even when they're not! How 'bout you? Are you a crier? Men, have you ever felt like hubby did today? What did you do to get through it?

I feel like your hubby does sometimes. Work, family lots of things just start to weigh on you and everything is just going wrong and then you just think "man, what next!" When it gets like this I just want to be left alone

I drink!

Just kidding!

Okay, not really. Hey, a little Cabernet never hurt anyone! Anti-oxidants, yada yada. It helps. Especially when accompanied by chocolate truffles.

I also think crying is very therapeutic. It lets out some serious frustrations so we don't explode. You never see a woman opening fire at a McDonald's with a rifle, do you?!!

I love a good cry. It's an emotional release. Even if it's crying at a good movie, I'm on a high for days.

I seem to always cry at the worst possible times - like at work. I think it's mostly because things really seem to come to a head when I'm behind the dispatch console and have answered what seems like my 100th 911 call of the day.

Sometimes I will cry just watching a commercial if I'm in the weepy kind of mood.
