Dreams Can Come True?

This morning when my little girl woke up she started asking where her gifts were. I was a bit puzzled at first 'cause I had gotten both of them some Valentine's day candies, etc and they were well hidden in the top of my closet. I thought maybe she'd been in there and spotted the stash. I looked at her very confused. She began to explain that her Uncle & Aunt had been here and they left gifts for her. She didn't get to open them because it was getting late. Now that she slept she wanted to open them. I tried to explain to her that nobody had been here and that she was dreaming. She then explained to me very matter of fact like that I didn't know what I was talking about and that I needed to call her Uncle because he was here and he would know what she was talking about. I finally just dropped the conversation and somewhere throughout the day she must've realized that it was indeed a dream. She never mentioned it this evening. *LOL* It's amazing how dreams can feel so real, though! I bet it IS hard for them to tell the difference.

Sometimes it's hard for ME to tell the difference. At least it was a good dream, and she wasn't being chased by a mob of waitresses . . . yes, that was last night's dream.

I hate waking up on a sunday in a panick that I slept in. It takes me a good 2-3 minutes to realize it's ok and to go back to bed...

The strangest feeling is waking up after a deep sleep and trying to decide if its morning or night or if you are supposed to be working or if you are off!

When she gets old enough to journal, you should get her a dream diary.
I have vivid dreams, too.
