A Day In The Life

A typical morning for me is chaotic to say the least. On rainy days, it's even worse...especially on Monday mornings! I get out of bed around 5:30. I do not have to be at work until 8, but my children go to two different places because the daycare that my little girl goes to does not have a spot for my little boy. He goes to Grandma's house. So, this means that I have to get them in and out two times each. Well, on a rainy morning this means that I have to load one up, go back in and get the other and load them up. Then I take the first one to their destination, unload them, come back out and drive the second one to their destination, unload them and head to work. This means, that by the time that I have gotten to work on a rainy day such as today, I've been in and out of my vehicle approximately 8 times, including starting it to warm up and loading bags, purse, etc. By the time I got to work this morning, I was cold and wet. I just want to go back to bed...or start the day over with some sunshine!!!

Yuck! No fun! I couldn't do that, I am so not a morning person. Luckily I don't have anywhere to go in the mornings, so my kids are still in their PJs and I'm sitting here in my bathrobe being lazy.

It's been raining all day here as well. A rainy Monday morning is not exactly how I want to start my week. Wishing you better days ahead. Take care!

Here are some virtual Hershey's Kisses filled with Peanut Butter for you. :)

Well, in 12 years Shelby can drive them both to school and you'll wonder how those little toddlers you used to have to tote out grew so fast.

Though I don't think preferring to be in bed on a cold and wet morning will ever change. :)

Hahah...yes, you're right, similar post. Mine also go to 2 different daycares. What a pain, eh?

You need an automatic car starter lol. At least it would help a little.
