Circus Dog
Last night just right after I laid down for bed, I heard the strangest noise out in the back yard. Then I heard the dog growling. I laid there a minute thinking maybe I was hearing things. Nope, I heard it again. I got up to investigate. I put on my slippers and looked out the back door and was shocked at what I saw. I thought to myself, am I just seeing things. Then I thought...where's the video camera!? I could be a millionaire. We have a Jack Russell Terrior and he had found a popcorn popper, ya know the kids toy that they push around and it makes a popping sound and the balls pop up and down. He had the handle in his mouth and was pushing that thing around. When it'd make a popping noise, he'd growl at it! It was the funniest thing I've ever seen! Too bad I didn't have this post for the animal blogging carnival.

That Jack Russell terrier was amusing himself -- If you leave the stove in the backyard, maybe he'll cook up some dinner next time he has nothing to do.

My daughter has wanted a Jack Russel ever since her days watching Wishbone. I've heard they're really smart--can be a handlful, but really smart.
