Thursday update
Hello all!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. It's hard to find time to post when I'm at home.
Things are great here. I took Tyler to his two week check up on Tuesday. He has gained a pound and an ounce. He was born 8lbs 2oz and he weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 2 1/2oz on Tuesday. : )
The dr said he looked normal and healthy and that his weight gain was fabulous. Normally they want them to at least be back to ehtir birth weight when they come in for their two week check up. So, the fact that he is is a pound over that was good news.
I got to spend some time with Mom and my little neice Haven (the one that was premie). I'll post a picture of her. She is getting so big. I think she's up to 12 or 13lbs now. She is so pretty, just like her mommy too! : )
Shelby decided Tuesday that she wanted to "trade" with Theresa (my sister). She told her lets trade babies. She liked the fact that Haven would smile with her and play with her. She's three months old now and she is developing her own little personality. It was much more fun to play with her than baby brother.
So, anyhow things are good here. I wanted to update everyone on how the baby boy is doing. He's growing like a weed. Looks like I'll go back to work on the 5th. He'll be one day shy of 4 weeks old. It's a little sooner than I wish to leave him, but I am ready to get back to work and get out of the house. He'll be in great hands with the sitter, though so I have no worries. Although I am sure I'll cry all day when I go back. I'll make it through! : )
