Baby shower!
Hello all!
Quick update:
Shelby's finger is doing okay. It is still black, but she hasn't really complained about it since that first day. She's a trooper! So, anyhow she's doing fine for all of you who were concerned.
I had a nice weekend. I was "showered" this weekend. My sister, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law threw me a baby shower. I got lots of things that I needed. Since we had a girl the first go round and we're having a boy this time, there were lots of things that I had that I couldn't use (clothes for instance) and lots of things that I could re-use (furniture, car seats, etc.) So, it was nice to have a shower where people could buy those practical things like diapers, burp cloths, soaps, bottles, and just general things that you need with a new baby. We are still in search for a larger house since ours is only two bedroom. We don't have another room to put this baby in, so we'll have to rearrange things to accomodate him. But, we can do that. I think that when I got home yesterday with all of my new things I began my nesting phase. I started cleaning up all of the old bottles and such. So, maybe this week I can slowly but surely start the process of getting ready for the baby. We are getting into the home stretch and I am getting excited!!
