Wednesday Dr Visit
I had my montly dr visit this morning. I had to drink the yucky orange flavored glucose drink today. They took my blood. I think that the gal did a pretty good job this time and maybe I won't look like a crackhead tomorrow with a big bruise on my arm.
I will know the results later on today, hopefully. With the last pregnancy I had to go back for the three hour test and it was miserable. They do your blood every thirty minutes. It isn't fun to get stuck that many times. The worst part about it is that you can't eat before hand and by the time they draw blood from you and you have to drink that crap I felt like I was going to pass out last time. But, it turned out that everything was fine. Guess I just had an off day. It all worked out and I didn't have gestational diabetes. So, that was good news.
Maybe with this one I won't have to go back to take the three hour test! Keep your fingers crossed for me.
The doc did schedule me to come back on June 1. We will do another ultrasound then. I think that I will take my little girl to this one 'cause he will look like a baby this time and it'll be close enough to time for him to get here that maybe she won't be too anxious. After this visit I will start going to his office every two weeks. It doesn't seem like it should be so soon. Maybe the next three months will fly by. I am really dreading being pregnant in the summer in ARKANSAS!!

Well I have my fingers crossed for you.
I think that would be so exciting for Shelby to go to the Dr with you to see the baby!
