The surprise!

I got home yesterday evening and there was a package on my doorstep.
Shelby and I were both excited 'cause we knew what it was and were anxious to see it!

To really tell the true significance of this story, I have to do a little background first. Several years back when I got my first computer the instant messaging program ICQ was very popular. My best friend,
Becca introduced me to ICQ and in no time I had met a great person,David. He sent me photos of his two beautiful little girls and his lovely wife. I also got pics of him every now and again, but when I sent him my photo without my teeth it kinda shyed him away! : ) (that's a little inside joke for ya, David).
Anyhow, when I was pregnant with my first child, a little girl his mother made me a beautiful afghan for her. It was something so special to me that this woman who didn't even know me would do such a sweet thing. I was very tickled.
Well, when we found out we were having a little boy this second time around he volunteered her services yet again. Yesterday when I saw the address on the package, I knew what it was. I told Shelby it was a blanket for her baby brother and she was ready to rip it open! So, we got it open and it is also beautifully croched and it is camoflauge!! It is so adorable. I absolutely love it. Shelby had to spread it out on the floor and break it in for brother! heh heh
There were also some boo boo bunnies in there. I had a couple of those when Shelby was little and she still loves to use it! So, now he'll have his own. That'll be great.
Thank you, David.
Thank you, Louise! Your hard work is very much appreciated. I'll be sending something special your way. ; )

Woo Hoo! I am glad that it got there and that ya'll like it. That is the first camoflauge one she has ever made. I thought it turned out great, my Dad is trying to talk her into making him a big one he can take hunting with him LOL. I will let her know how much you liked it :)

I still have that picture. If I could use Hello out here I would use it as my profile picture ;)
