My weekend
was nice.
I had to take my little one to the dr this morning, though.
She ran fever off and on all weekend. She cut one of her back jaw teeth, so I kinda had suspicions that it was only her teeth causing her to run fever. But, she ran fever for three days. So, I thought I'd rather go on in and have the doc tell me that it was only her teeth and there was no need to worry.
I took her in first thing this morning and come to find out she had the start of an ear infection. We caught it early enough that it shouldn't have been hurting her too bad (obviously 'cause she was sleeping through the night, normally with ear infections we are up all night). So, he gave us some antibiotics and she's on the road to recovery.
The weekend was nice.
Saturday we gals did a bit of shopping, my sister and her little girl, myself and my little one.
We all had a nice time. It is fun to take two 2 year olds into Bath and Body and watch them smell the fragrances. I think they sampled every lotion in the store. The truck smelled nice on the way home.
Sunday I spent most of the day cleaning my house. It is so amazing to me how one weekend of slacking off can really get you in a bind. I was lazy/busy last weekend, so I didn't get very much accomplished. I had to make up for it this weekend. I did get Shelby's room cleaned as well as my own. They had been neglected for quite some time, though so it was good that I had time to do that.
Last night, my back was really bothering me. There were a couple of times when I could not hardly move in bed 'cause it was hurting so bad. I am sure it was a combination of all of the work I had done and just being pregnant. The baby was really moving around a lot yesterday and in some strange positions putting a lot of pressure on me. But, today is a little better, still hurting a bit, but I'm gonna make it!!!
