Today's the day!
I finally got to hold the baby for the first time today. I got to the hospital around feeding time, so I also got to give her a bottle of her mommy's breast milk. She is going to spend the night with them in their room and then they will all go home tomorrow if all is still well! Thank goodness.
It was amazing to get to finally hold her and see her up close. She didn't open her eyes the whole time I was there, though! But, I got some cute pictures of her close up and her daddy took some of me holding her. So, I will try to get a couple of them posted on here this evening when I get home with my camera.

That is great that you finally got to hold her! And that she is doing well enough to come home. We will still keep her in our thoughts and prayers.
