Baby Haven update

Baby Haven decided this morning that she no longer needed her feeding tube. So, she pulled it out! They did have plans on taking it out this afternoon and trying to feed her from a bottle. So, she just pushed them a little ahead of schedule. They have also taken her off the oxygen. She has been without it for over 24 hours now and it doing great. She is out of that big ole warming bed and in a regular 'crib' as they call it in the hospital nursery. They are still monitoring her pulse oxygen to make sure she is doing well. But, otherwise she is doing great! They are going to teach her mommy and daddy as well as Nanny (her grandma) some infant CPR on Wednesday in case the need arose for them to use it. The doc said that she will probably go home with some kind of monitor on her to monitor her sleep cause she wants to stop breathing when she is sleeping. But, otherwise she is doing well and they are shooting for her to go home at the end of the week!

Thanks to you all for your prayers and well wishes for my little niece. I still haven't gotten to hold her, but I am really looking fwd to actually getting to be in the same room with her and holding her, although she is so tiny it'll be odd!!
